Country Critters Pet Grooming is a home-based business with more than 25 years experience in the pet grooming industry. Owner Caprice formerly worked with her Mother at Judee’s Canine Salon in Riverton. Country Critters is located directly next to Spaulding/Riverton off HW 54, only a few minutes’ drive from the northeast side of Springfield, in a peaceful country setting. Here, you can expect a more accommodating, personalized pet grooming experience many in town grooming shops cannot provide.

Our hours vary from 6 am – 6 pm throughout the weekdays. We do not charge extra if your pet needs to stay all day or if you need to pick up right away! The drop-off and pick-up times are set at scheduling but can be flexible if needed. DOGS MUST BE LEASHED AT ALL TIMES.

I specialize in tiny and miniature breeds 30lbs and under.

For our Full Groom Service, we use top quality products at no extra cost to fit each pet’s specific needs including oatmeal, blueberry facials, clean scents, hypoallergenic, fragrance free, deep conditioning treatments and moisturizing. Our full groom service also includes: 2 shampoos, gland expressed (unless vet asks not to), ears cleaned, pawdicures – clipped and ground nails, haircut, fully combed, brushed, and de-shed if necessary. Full grooms start at $45 and increase in price with size and haircut preference. Bath/Brush/Nails start at $35. Nails only appointments (while you wait) are $10. Hour long appointments start at $65. Fun hair coloring is also available. I try to make this “spa day” as pleasant for your pet as possible! Same day appointments are sometimes available.
